What to Expect

This isn't a sales call. It's a diagnostic conversation.

We'll spend 45-60 minutes talking about your business. I'll ask questions about your revenue, your operations, your team, and your data. You'll get a sense of whether I actually understand your problem. I'll get a sense of whether I can fix it.

At the end of the call, one of three things will happen:

  1. Clear fit: I can help, you want help, we move forward with Phase 1 (Diagnostic)
  2. Not a fit: I'm honest about why this won't work and point you toward better options
  3. Maybe fit: I need to dig deeper with your data before I can tell you if I can help

No pressure. No pitch deck. Just an honest conversation between two people who both have better things to do than waste time.

Before We Talk

This conversation works best if you have answers to these questions:

  • What's your current ARR and growth rate?
  • What keeps you up at night about your revenue?
  • Where do you think the problem is?
  • What have you tried so far?
  • What would "fixed" look like to you?

You don't need exact numbers or perfect answers. Just your honest assessment of where things stand.

  • You're a software company doing $2M-$7M in ARR
  • Revenue is growing but slower or more chaotic than it should be

Common Questions

Do you only work with software companies?

Yes. I've spent 20+ years in software, and that's where my pattern recognition is sharpest. I know what good looks like, what breaks at each stage, and what fixes actually work.

What if we're not sure we're ready for Phase 2?

That's fine. Phase 1 is standalone. You get the diagnostic report either way. If you decide not to move forward, you'll still know exactly what's broken and what it would take to fix it.

How much time commitment does this require from our team?

Phase 1: Expect 10-15 hours across your leadership team for interviews and data gathering. Phase 2 & 3: Depends on the work, but typically 5-10 hours per week from key stakeholders.

Do you work remotely or on-site?

I work remotely with occasional on-site visits when needed. I've built three companies this way. Modern tools make location mostly irrelevant.

What if we need someone full-time?

If you're above $7M ARR or have the budget for a full-time COO, that's probably the right move. I can help you figure that out during our diagnostic call.

Why only 1-2 clients at a time?

Because I actually do the work, not just advise on it. This isn't scalable consulting. It's focused execution. Quality over quantity.
